REPLACEMENT PARTS
ALIGNMENT INSTRUCTIONS
Modulated R.F. signal generator; output meter; insulated screw-driver; two J mid 400 volt and one 50 mmfd 400 volt condensers.
To align the receiver it is necessary to remove the chassis from the cabinet, check that the pointer is horizontal and coincides with the two horizontal reference lines on the dial. In this position the condenser should be completely closed. Connect the output meter and signal generator as follows: Output meter Connect across voice coil and turn volume control to maximum. Signal generator Connect the low side of the signal generator to the common B - bus thru a, mid condenser and keep the output as low as possible, then proceed in the sequence shown on the alignment chart.
