This is two conductor cable much like you would find on a vintage reverb cable. It has a single 22g insulated wire with an outer braid.

Is this the wire used in vintage guitars where the shielding is soldered to the ground?
Asked by Anonymous on August 30th, 2017.
You can but this wire has a modern insulated cable underneath the tin braid. If you are not careful, you could melt the plastic.
