Does this come with all the necessary parts and instructions to install?
Asked by Anonymous on August 27th, 2015.
The unit comes with instructions, spring, plastic washer and screws for the rear plate and the vibrato unit. This should give you everything you need to install the vibrato.

Should I use a B7 or a B5 on a Gibson Midtown? I want to use a Vibramate. Can the B7 be installed without using any screws?
Asked by Anonymous on December 8th, 2015.
The Vibramate website lists the ES series as using a V5/B5 combo. The Midtown is modeled after the ES series so it stands to reason that this would be the combo most compatible with your guitar.

Will the B7 fit an Epiphone Elitist Casino?
Asked by Anonymous on August 25th, 2016.
The B7 should work as it is designed for thin archtop and hollowbody guitars.

Will this fit a Danelectro D59?
Asked by Anonymous on October 13th, 2016.
We do not have any experience with this on a Danelectro. Typically the B7 is for guitars with an arched top such as Les Paul's and ES-335's. The B5 might be a better choice but you need to make sure that there is something solid to mount this to besides the top.

Will this fit a Michael Kelly 335 style?
Asked by Anonymous on October 13th, 2016.
It should fit. If your guitar already has a TOM bridge, you will have two holes that will be exposed. There is no way around this unless you use a B5 and a Vibramate V5 or put a cover on top of the holes. There is also a Vibramate V7 for 335 style guitars.

The product I got from you has the "patent no.d-xxx,xxx" all in chrome. Shouldn't it be black as it is showed in the pictures?
Asked by Anonymous on November 3rd, 2016.
The B7's that we carry have the patent number exposed in aluminum and not covered in black.

Will my Les Paul still fit in the case with the Bigsby and trem bar installed? Or will the bar need to be removed in order for the case to close?
Asked by Anonymous on February 25th, 2017.
It all depends on the type of clearance your case has. Most people will turn the Bigsby handle towards the back strap pin (away from the headstock) as this lowers the height of the Bigsby arm allowing most cases to close.

Will this work on Washburn HB30?
Asked by Anonymous on June 20th, 2017.
This will not work without some permanent modifications. For a drop in replacement you need a Bigsby B5 (SKU: P-GB5-A) and a Vibramate B5 (SKU: P-GV5-A).

Will it fit a PRS mcarthy?

We recommend that you examine the dimensions in the spec sheet to see if this will fit on your guitar. Also, installing a Bigsby often requires permanent modification.

Will this work for an Epiphone ES 175?
Asked by Anonymous on December 26th, 2017.
Since the ES 175 already has a bridge, you would be better off with a Bigsby B6. Depending on the hole pattern of your current tailpiece, you might need to make permanent modifications to your guitar.

Does this fit ibanez afs75t?
Asked by Anonymous on February 6th, 2018.
This is not designed to fit onto a hollow body guitar like the afs75t. I would look at the B3 but you will need to compare the B3's specs with your guitar to insure a proper fit.

Will this fit my Gretsch Streamliner "Jr" ???
Asked by Anonymous on November 8th, 2018.
It appears as if the Bigsby B50 is used as the stock vibrato unit on the Streamliner Junior, so you may want to consider that unit, but you will need to compare the sizing from the spec sheet above if you want to use this unit. https://www.amplifiedparts.com/products/vibrato-bigsby-b50-guitar-flat-top-electrics

I have an Epiphone Sheraton II hollowbody archtop, purchased 8 years ago new, that I'd like to add a GOLD Bigsby "whammy" bar - what unit would fit with the LEAST additional holes in my beautiful guitar? Is the B7 the right one? Fit the most perfectly? What would be the price from you for this unit? I would buy with a CC. I could send you a picture/measurements if needed. NO new holes to drill highly desired. Thanks in advance
Asked by Anonymous on May 29th, 2019.
Both the B5 and the B7 will work on an Epiphone Sheraton II according to the Vibramate website. Using a Vibramate adapter plate in conjunction with a Bigsby vibrato unit will allow for drill free mounting to your guitar.

which unit fits an Epiphone Joe Pass Emperor II? Thanks
Asked by Anonymous on June 28th, 2019.
Several Bigsby units will properly fit an Epiphone Joe Pass Emperor II, including the one in this listing (B7) as well as the B3. You will want to determine if drilling into the body is a major concern, as the B7 requires drilling more holes for mounting.

Will this Bigsby B7 fit my Dean "Les Paul" guitar? I want to "Neal Young-ize" the guitar I bought for my son 20 years ago. (He never used it, and I want to customize it for my retirement guitar.) I can't find the exact model name anywhere since it was made in Korea and only has a serial number of "Korea E804490." (It has a built-in neck, standard Grover tuning keys, only two control knobs that have dual "push/pull" functionality. The lower portion of this guitar looks very much like my old Gibson Les Paul Deluxe (that I no longer have). I hope you tell me this vibrato will work. By the way, do you have any resources for identifying the model of this Korean Dean? Also, since I have been out of the guitar products loop for a few decades, can you recommend the hottest pickup replacements to give me that "Father of grunge" Neil Young sound? Thanks so much! Dan Mathias - Kansas City, MO.
Asked by Anonymous on April 22nd, 2020.
A B7 is certainly the most likely to be the right unit, as the B7 is what is traditionally used on Les Pauls. We do not have a way to offer any detailed information about the guitar in question. As for pickups, the McNelly Cornucopias (P-PUMC-CCX-N) are great and the Gotoh HB Classic/Classic Alpha are a great option that is super affordable!

Will this fit on an Epiphone les Paul studio lt
Asked by Anonymous on May 11th, 2020.
The B7 unit is the most commonly used on Les Paul model guitars, so this should have no issues working with your guitar. Keep in mind that installing one of these on your guitar is a permanent modification unless you plan to use the Vibramate adapter plate. Here is a link for both the B7 and the corresponding Vibramate in a package deal: https://www.amplifiedparts.com/products/vibrato-bigsby-vibramate-set-b7-v7-les-paul

Can the B7 replace an Ibanez VBF70 on Ibanez AGR73T.
Asked by Anonymous on September 5th, 2020.
There shouldn't be any reason this can't be used on the guitar in question, but without sizing information on the VBF70 to reference, we are unable to confirm that no modifications would be required to install this unit on your guitar.

Can I replace A B700 with a B7 without drilling new holes?
Asked by Anonymous on January 18th, 2022.
The two units (B7 and B700) have slightly different sizing, and the B7 would not be a direct replacement for a B700.

The string through holes and ferrules in that guitar may prevent this vibrato from fitting properly.

Product Reviews
There is only one Bigsby and nothing sounds like the real thing. Even if you only shake the stick once in a blue moon, the resonance of the strings between the bridge and roller bar has a unique character. The B7 is perfect for a Gibson ES 135.
Great product. Unfortunately, it did not fit my '99 Epiphone ES-335. Amplified Parts graciously arranged for me to return the Bigsby for a full refund. I have a B5 Bigsby on order from Amplified and can't wait to receive it. Thanks so much. You guys are awesome.
I have bought 2 of these from Amplified Parts...One aluminum the other gold and they were perfect...They add sustain. Aluminum was put on Gibson ES 335 Gold was put on Epiphone ES 175. I will be ordering another soon...Can't go wrong, easy to install....Bassman
