The 5881 is a very reliable tube that is widely used in many current production tube amplifiers. It has a warm tone with good 'bite.' This modern version is able to tolerate higher voltages than its 5881 / 6L6 cousins. The Sovtek 5881 delivers a warm, round tone that "sweetens" any vintage or modern guitar amp design. Built to rigid military standards, the 5881 will tolerate higher voltages than any other 6L6. In fact, they're frequently used as replacements for the old 7027 model in vintage Ampegs. Extremely consistent from piece to piece.
Starting at $16.95
The JJ Electronic 6550 is a robust tube built in the rugged fashion that JJ is famous for. At 35 Watts, these tubes have a warm round tone with a thick and defined low end. The JJ 6550 is an excellent choice for bass heads, tube organs, and Hi-Fi amplifiers.
Starting at $36.95
The JJ Electronic EL844 is a variation on the classic tube which reduces the overall headroom by 25%. With the reduced power, hitting that rich distortion that the EL84 is notorious for is more manageable. This tube will hit full saturated power tube sounds without having to crank the amps volume as high which makes them a great choice for recording as well as home / bedroom use.
Starting at $12.50
Combines two diode units and a high-mu triode in a single envelope. Each section uses a common cathode. It is intended for service as a combined detector, AVC source, and high gain audio amplifier.
9 pin miniature preamp tube (Amplification Factor = 100). This Russian tube has strong lows and bright highs. Its lows demand attention when playing full bar chords. In overdrive, it offers a lot of crunchy fizz.
The Sovtek 5881WXT is the same as the 5881 but with a full size base for easy installation in vintage amp designs. The Sovtek 5881 has a heater voltage of 6.3 volts at 0.88 amperes.
Starting at $18.25
Octal rectifier tube (Max DC output current = 250 mA)
The JJ Electronic EF806S is a high quality reproduction of the classic EF86. This pentode features a robust construction with the internal shielding used in the original tubes. The JJ EF806 can be used in any EF86 circuit including microphones and amplifiers.
Starting at $29.95
Superior directly heated rectifier Diode. Replacement for all 5U4 types, including NOS-style "big bottle" tubes.
Superior power Beam tetrode with large plate dimensions and improved grid structure for increased power handling capabilities. Excellent tone and performance compared to most other 6L6 or KT66 types.
Starting at $21.75
Premium high-voltage power pentode, featuring improved materials and workmanship over the original EL34B. Higher impedance design with increased touch responsiveness.
- Unique clipping characteristic with a hint of 6L6 sound
- Velvety-smooth in HiFi applications, full & rich-sounding in guitar amps
- 6CA7 equivalent
Starting at $24.70
9 pin miniature preamp tube (Amplification Factor = 100). The Chinese 12AX7B is very similar in tone to its standard Chinese cousin, but the Bs seem to average in at slightly lower gain and noise.
Miniature pentagrid converter designed to perform simultaneously the combined functions of the mixer and oscillator in superheterodyne receivers. The tube is suitable for use in the standard broadcast and FM bands.
A high performance, long plate version of the ECC82 / 12AU7. Like all JJ preamp tubes, these are built into a rugged package using the spiral filament and robust plate structure resulting in low microphonics and high reliability. The long plate version of this tube differs from the standard version with its stronger and fuller sound which offers a wider and more balanced frequency response.
Starting at $13.45
Miniature beam pentode primarily designed for use in the audio-frequency power-output stage of radio receivers. The tube features high power sensitivity and high efficiency at relatively low plate and screen voltages
Miniature half-wave rectifier for use in line-operated equipment having series-connected heaters. The heater is tapped to permit operation of a panel lamp.
Miniature remote-cutoff pentode primarily designed for use as a high-gain radio-frequency or intermediate-frequency amplifier. Features include small size, low grid-plate capacitance, and high transconductance
Miniature sharp cutoff pentode primarily designed for use as a high-gain radio-frequency or intermediate-frequency amplifier. Its low grid-plate capacitance and high transconductance make it especially suited for high-frequency wide-band applications
Combines a high mu triode and two independent diode units in the 7-pin miniature construction. It permits a single tube to function as detector, AVC rectifier, and audio amplifier.
Superior medium-Mu Twin Triode for use in preamplifier and driver circuits. Standard replacement for all circuits requiring 12AU7/ECC82 types.
Starting at $13.95
The JJ Electronic EZ81 is a noval based rectifier with a rugged construction. These tubes are an excellent choice for guitar amps such as 18W Marshalls and Hi-Fi amplifiers as well. This tube will work in any EZ81 or 6CA4 application.
