Vacuum Tube - 5881, JJ Electronics
The JJ Electronic 5881 is very similar to the 6L6GC but with a plate dissipation of 23W rather than 30W. Another physical difference is the shorter bulb. These tubes have a soft and balanced response that sounds great in both guitar amps and hifi equipment. The JJ 5881 will work in any amp that uses 6L6 tubes.

Russian made reissue of the original Tungsol.
The 5881 is the electrical equivalent to types 6L6 and 6L6G except that the plate and screen dissipation ratings have been increased approximately 20 percent. It embodies a complete mechanical redesign which results in greater resistance to shock and vibration.

This modern version is able to tolerate higher voltages than its 5881 / 6L6 cousins. The Sovtek 5881 delivers a warm, round tone that "sweetens" any vintage or modern guitar amp design.
