# Vacuum Tubes

The first electronic amplification of sound was done with Vacuum Tubes. We have pre-amp, power and rectifier vacuum tubes among other types in New Old Stock from the golden era of American & European manufacturing as well as current production tubes from today.
Vacuum Tube - 6CA7, JJ Electronics
A true to form reproduction of a classic tube that will work in most EL34 amps. The 6CA7 is often considered the American cousin to the British EL34. Sonically, this tube is closer to a 6L6 than an EL34 but without the sometimes harsh high end of the 6L6.
Starting at $16.45 Vacuum Tube - KT77, JJ Electronics A reproduction of the original tubes that captures the sound that made the KT77 famous. In their typical fashion, JJ has built this tube in a solid construction that is robust and highly reliable. This tube has more headroom than a typical EL34. This is an excellent tube for adding more power to the sound of an EL34 amp. Starting at$19.95
Vacuum Tube - 5881, Tung-Sol Reissue
Russian made reissue of the original Tungsol.
The 5881 is the electrical equivalent to types 6L6 and 6L6G except that the plate and screen dissipation ratings have been increased approximately 20 percent. It embodies a complete mechanical redesign which results in greater resistance to shock and vibration.
Starting at $20.50 Vacuum Tube - 6V6GT, Chinese Chinese 6V6GT Available in Singles, Matched Pairs or Matched Quads - please select from list. Starting at$11.51
Vacuum Tube - KT88, JJ Electronics

It can be used in place of 6550 tubes.
Starting at $39.95 Vacuum Tube - 6550WE, Sovtek The Sovtek 6550WE was designed to be the finest 6550 ever produced. Thicker plates, improved heat dissipation, higher transconductance, and increased linearity are just some of the inherent aspects of the new Sovtek super 6550s. The resulting performance advantages include 5% higher output power, increased reliability, greater headroom, and superior tone. The 6550WE features a metal-ringed base for increased power-handling capabilities. Starting at$32.95
Vacuum Tube - 7027A, JJ Electronics
The JJ Electronic 7027A offers the same reliability and tone as the JJ 6L6GC but with the correct pinout for vintage amplifiers that use 7027 tubes like older Ampegs. At 30W, this tube delivers plenty of headroom. The highs are clear and responsive with warm mids and tight solid lows. Known for their reliability and articulation, the JJ 7027A is a great option guitar amplifiers and Hi-Fi stereo equipment.

This tube has a tone that is warm and lively with a detailed and balance response. Starting at$44.95
Vacuum Tube - 5881, JJ Electronics
The JJ Electronic 5881 is very similar to the 6L6GC but with a plate dissipation of 23W rather than 30W. Another physical difference is the shorter bulb. These tubes have a soft and balanced response that sounds great in both guitar amps and hifi equipment. The JJ 5881 will work in any amp that uses 6L6 tubes.
Starting at $18.95 Vacuum Tube - KT66, Valve Art Octal power tube (Max Plate Watts = 25W) Starting at$33.98
Vacuum Tube - EL34 II, JJ Electronics, Pentode
A different construction of the classic EL34 tube that offers a different tonal palette than the original. This tube has a more compact plate structure than standard EL34’s. The JJ EL34 II has an increased low to low-mid end with plenty of headroom to spare. The JJ EL34 II is stronger than the original but not harsh sounding in any way.
Starting at $16.00 Vacuum Tube - KT66, JJ Electronics A sonically faithful reproduction of the original tubes with a robust construction encased in a thick glass envelope. The JJ KT66 delivers a powerful 25 Watts with plenty of headroom. This tube has a tone that is warm, thick, and straightforward. With a more balanced sound than the 6L6GC, the JJ KT66 is an excellent choice for a full bodied tone. Starting at$39.95
Vacuum Tube - EL509, JJ Electronics
The JJ Electronic EL509S is an eight pin octal based version of the EL509 / EL519. This modified version does not have the top plate cap which is instead wired to a pin on the octal base. This tube is rated for 700V and 42 Watts plate dissipation. The JJ EL509 is popularly used in output transformerless OTL amplifiers.
