The first electronic amplification of sound was done with Vacuum Tubes. We have pre-amp, power and rectifier vacuum tubes among other types in New Old Stock from the golden era of American & European manufacturing as well as current production tubes from today.

Hartley Peavey founded Peavey Electronics, one of the world's largest manufacturers and suppliers of musical and professional audio equipment, in 1965, having built his first amplifier in 1957.

9 pin miniature preamp tube (Amplification Factor = 60)
Durable phase splitter or driver tube. Excellent in vibrato or reverb circuits where consistent, high output power is desired.

T-12AY7-GT Vacuum Tube - 12AY7, Groove Tubes
This tube is closest in specification to a 12AX7 and can be exchanged with a slight drop in gain. Most companies changed over to the 12AX7 as it became more common.
This tube can be tried in later Marshall amplifiers in the first gain position, where the owner of these amps would like to drop the background noise and lower the gain level to plexi or early 70s vintage gain levels with its returned wider frequency response.
