Will I have to rebias my Mesa Boogie Dual Rectifier 100 watt amp head, and how well do these work in this amp head.
Asked by Anonymous on November 11th, 2016.
According to Mesa Boogie, if you order these tubes with "middle values" you should not have to rebias your amp.
Will I have to rebias my EVH 5150 III Amp if I put these in.
If your EVH has a bias pot we recommend re-biasing your amp.

Hello Good People, This is Dave. I have four JJ 6L6GC's with a sku #T-6L6GC-JJ-MQ They were given as a gift bought thru amazon, And am happy with them! My question is, on all four tube boxes a label was marked 17/2.5 Could you tell me what this means? The values? Thank you in advance,I would really appreciate it! I will look to "Amplifiedparts" for future tube/electronics needs. Best Regards, Dave
The number will mean different things depending on how it is written. You will either see a printed Apex sticker or a sticker with a handwritten number. Please contact us at: info@amplifiedparts.com for more information.

Hi, I had 1 jj 6l6 bust when i shipped my amp . so I took another tube out to make it even 1 on each side . can i buy just one? without a bias?
Asked by Anonymous on January 19th, 2017.
Power tubes need to be matched in order for your amp to operate properly. If you ordered your tubes from us, we can get you one tube to match your existing power tubes.

If I need two tubes, do I need to purchase two single ones or Apex Matched Pair? Because prices vary.
Asked by Anonymous on January 19th, 2017.
If you require two power tubes in a push pull configuration then you would want to purchase a matched pair.

Will I have to rebias a 2002 59' Fender Bassman Reissue if I install a pair of these 6L6s?
Asked by Anonymous on August 10th, 2017.
With any retube, you may need to make adjustments to your amp depending on the type of bias it has. Your amp will either be fixed adjustable bias (has bias pot on the back of the amp) , Fixed non-adjustable bias (bias is fixed by a resistor in your amp), or cathode bias (self biasing no bias required). The manual for your amp should be able to tell you what type of bias you have. Rebiasing an amp is something that should be done by an experienced tech. Many amp manufactures setup their amps to accept "middle values" for tubes. You can request middle numbers when ordering. Keep in mind, this will not guarantee you will not have to rebias your amp.

I've got a Krank Rev Jr20, came with 5881 from the Krank Factory, when I bought it secondhand it had a busted GT-6V6-R tube, looking to replace them, would the JJ-6L6GC work? If not what tube would yall recommend? This amp is "cathode bias/non adjustable"
Thank You,
Tony
Asked by Anonymous on January 2nd, 2021.
6L6 tubes are interchangeable with 5881s, but a 6V6 is not compatible with the two.

I have always loved the JJ tubes in just about any tube guitar amp I’ve either fixed up or just needed a new set of tubes. They are workhorses! They can withstand the higher currents of some amplifiers. I’ve had the same set of 6L6 tubes for instance in my old trusty 1996 fender deville 4x10 for about 5 years now and still sounds great! This latest set went in to a 1981 Peavey Classic 65 watt. It sounds fantastic! A real sleeper.
Very neutral sounding power tube. Really lets you hear the guitar not the amp.
Customer service was outstanding. Shipped in a timely manner. Great pricing...
I have had good luck with JJ Power Tubes . I play through Boogie Mark III's . I recently acquired a second Mark III and it came with all 4 6L6 Apex Matched tubes. this one is a green stripe. The sound is awesome . Creamy distortion and loved the way those tubes sounded. So i bought an Apex Matched Quad of 6L6's to replace the El34 and 6L6 tubes in my blue stripe and they also sound Great! So I am a believer in the JJ tubes and Apex Matching. I thank Apex for taking the time to explain in detail via video how Apex goes about matching tubes and the brains behind it all!
Thanks Again!

I bought these as replacements for a Fender Hot Rod DeVille 2x12, and they’re fantastic! They highlight a broad range of sound and seem to enhance the low end compared to the original tubes I had.
I bought a Fender Hot Rod Deluxe used and decided to swap out all the stock tubes for JJs. To my ears the JJs are a bit warmer than the stock Fender tubes which come in the amp. Also, Amplified Parts have the best prices I found online for tubes. Shipping was fast and the tubes arrived securely packaged. Thanks, Amplified Parts!
I have tried GT, EHX, RUBY and many other tubes, and the JJ's sound amazing, and for the price, it's the best option, I mean for me, for my ear, this sound amazing!!! Greetings from México! AMPLIFIEDPARTS YOU KICK ASS!!! THANKS!
It is a reliable, stable power vacuum tube.
I am experimenting with various power vacuum tubes,
Slovakia made is stable.
We recommend all means.
Amplified parts is the place to go when you need replacement tubes! Great prices.
This matched pair solved all the issues I was having and improved the tone for the better.
Much better!
