The introduction of the new Grover Locking Rotomatics® gives you the ease of use provided by a standard tuner and the positive locking of our internal cam post. Simply insert the string through the string hole, pull to tension by hand and begin tuning. As you start to tune, only the locking cam in the string post turns. Once the string is locked, the string post begins to turn allowing you to bring the string to pitch. In less than one revolution of the string post, you will be in tune, to stay in tune. Gear ratio is 18 to 1.

The 505FV series design allows you to upgrade your vintage Fender® tuners to a more modern style locking tuner without making ANY modifications to your guitar. The overlapping ear design allows you to utilize the existing screw holes and the use of push in bushings, rather than screw in, means no modifications have to be made to the post holes. The PRL-8341 are a right-handed set of Locking RATIO® Calibrated Machine Heads for electric guitars that use 3 x 3 tuners, such as Gibson style and PRS style guitars. The unique bearing surface in the housing provides a rigid string post enhancing the alignment of the gear and worm. The 14:1 gear ratio provides for fine tuning.

Gotoh’s SD90-MG-T tuners offer the same classic look as the vintage Kluson-inspired SD90 series but also feature Gotoh’s Magnum Lock technology. These tuners lock using a thumbscrew to set the strings in place through the posts. The nickel plated stamped metal housing and press fit bushings make these tuners a great option for guitar players who are looking to mix vintage style with modern advantages. The SD series uses a torque balancer to ensure steady rotation of the tuner button giving high quality sound performance as well as great functionality. Through its use of the ideal materials selected for each component part you also obtain a far superior sound. These are 3+3 (Three on a side) configuration.
