Finding the right aftermarket tuners that match up with your guitar's mounting hole pattern can be a guessing game and if your new tuners don't match, you're stuck drilling new holes, filling the old holes and screwing in the new tuners. That's why Hipshot made the UMP™ (Universal Mount Plate). The UMP™ is a patent pending adapter plate that fits between your Hipshot tuners and the headstock of your guitar. Tabs on the face of the plate prevent the tuners from slipping against the headstock. At the same time, reach nuts inserted through the existing headstock holes into the tuners keep the whole assembly securely in place.

The PRL-8341 are a right-handed set of Locking RATIO® Calibrated Machine Heads for electric guitars that use 3 x 3 tuners, such as Gibson style and PRS style guitars. A great upgrade over single gear machine heads, such as Grover, Schaller, Sperzel, Kluson, etc. This set has keystone style knobs. The tuners have a two pin casing that can be used as is, or with Graphtech’s Patented InvisoMatch Mounting Plates. 4 different sets of InvisoMatch mounting plates in brushed aluminum are included to make installation on most guitars fast and accurate by using your existing screw mounting holes. RATIO® is Graphtech’s patented gear technology. RATIO® Calibrated Machine Heads incorporate different string gauges into the tuning equation.

The 505FV series design allows you to upgrade your vintage Fender® tuners to a more modern style locking tuner without making ANY modifications to your guitar. The overlapping ear design allows you to utilize the existing screw holes and the use of push in bushings, rather than screw in, means no modifications have to be made to the post holes. These inline tuners feature the famous 18:1 ratio and thumb screw locking mechanism.
