The SD series solves these problems by combining "Rock-solid" technology and the post collar or: "Self-Center Guide", found on enclosed gears in the base plate of the gear allowing the post to perfectly align itself with the bushing which attaches the gear to the headstock. The SD series uses a torque balancer to ensure steady rotation of the tuner button giving high quality sound performance as well as great functionality. The unique bearing surface in the housing provides a rigid string post enhancing the alignment of the gear and worm. The 14:1 gear ratio provides for fine tuning.

Replacement bushings for Fender® headstocks. Contemporary - 10.5mm outside diameter and 6.35mm inside diameter. These are the correct adapter bushings for contemporary Fender necks that are bored out to slightly larger modern specs. These work as reducer bushings to enable you to install a vintage Kluson tuner on a modern headstock from Fender without having to plug and redrill the pegholes.
