Gotoh's Res-O-Lite machine heads are extremely light weight (59.2 grams each) from aluminum alloy to make for a less neck heavy bass. Features a 26:1 Gear Ratio. 2+2 config, fits many Standard American and Mexican basses. Also the key post can be removed and replaced on opposing side.Comes in 2+2 configuration. Non-direct replacement tuners for vintage and vintage reissue Fender® basses. Similar in style to the original Fender tuners but the footprints are different. With the advent of 5 and 6 string basses, this tendency became still more acute, making long sessions uncomfortable for the musician. The RES-O-LITE series was developed to solve this problem. By chiefly using the special alloy “duralumin”, excellent weight savings are achieved.
