Gotoh Stealth Keys are the smallest and lightest tuning keys in the world! They weigh in at only 11.9 grams (.026 lb) each! That's the equivalent of only ½ to ⅓ of the weight of most standard guitar machine heads.

These machine heads let the instrument truly sing by allowing it to resonate to it's full potential and reduces the weight of your guitar significantly. Trickery you say? Don't be fooled by the size and weight, these are made to last! By using high quality aluminum alloy, stainless steel, and brass materials, these little guys can stand the test of time.

Featuring an 18:1 Gear Ratio (Micro Worm Gear). String tension must be less than 20kgs or 44 lbs. Standard light gauge strings are recommended. Mounting hardware included.

These require an 8mm diameter for the bushings. We suggest you measure the holes in your guitar for verification.

I have 25/64 post holes can this tuner fit.

A 25/64" diameter hole would be too large for the press fit bushings included with these tuners.

1 answers Is the tuner hole for the bushing only 8mm? If so, that is even smaller than the 11/16" tuner hole (almost 3/4 of a mm) that is needed for the classic "Vintage style" tuners.

The press fit bushings on these tuners are indeed 8mm in diameter.

1 answers Hi! The photo of this product appears to be the STM-31 version of this tuner, which has the Gotoh Magnum Lock feature and is A) the one I want, and B) kinda hard to find outside of Japan. Do you carry that one or is it the ST31 solid post version?

This listing is indeed for the Gotoh STM31 and does have the magnum lock feature.

The tuning "button" on these tuners is chrome plated, and the shaft doesn't appear to have the same gloss sheen as the buttons. Although they may be constructed from stainless steel, they are chrome plated.
