Vacuum Tube Accessories

Ceramic socket for loctal (sometimes spelled loktal) tubes such as the T-35Z3 rectifier. These loctal sockets have eight eyelets for the outside pins and an eyelet for the large center pin. Chassis hole details:

• 1” to 1.1875” depending on mounting
  
  • 1” hole for bottom mounting
  • 1.1875” hole for top mounting
• 1.5” mounting centers with oblong mounting holes

Retainer for EL84 tubes. For use with guitar amps and applications where the tube is suspended upside down in the chassis. This style of EL84 retainer was popularly used in vintage 18W Marshall amps. The two brackets mount using the socket’s hardware.

High quality chassis hole covers for a wide variety of hole sizes. These covers use tapered tabs that easily snap into the hole to securely hold the cover in place. If a more permanent solution is required, the metal tabs can be bent outward after installing to secure the hole cover to the chassis. These nickel plated covers are a great way to modify an existing chassis or cover up mistakes. The YJShort is shorter than the standard YJS converter, allowing for use in amps that do not have room for the standard converters. It is a specialized, current-limiting/voltage-conditioning adapter for use in most 20 to 100 watt amps which use 6L6, EL34, 6550 or 6V6 output tubes

Bottom mount ceramic socket has bossed mounting holes and recessed rivets to allow sub-panel mounting. Socket fits 300B, 811 size tubes.

Retainer (Belton). for use with EL84 tubes, mounts to chassis. Steel plate with nickel plating and natural coil spring. Note: these retainers are for specialized socket below chassis mounting. (See mounting drawing below.) The springs are too short for standard sockets mounted level with the chassis surface.
