Do you have valuable octal type tubes that work fine except the keyway has been broken off the base? Fix it with this simple and inexpensive product. Simply clean the remainder of the broken keyway from the base and slip one of these on. Will stay on by itself, or you can use a dab of silicon to attach if you wish.

The YJR is a direct plug-in replacement adapter for use in most amplifiers that use 5AR4/GZ34, 5U4, 5Y3 or similar full-wave rectifier tubes. The YJR converts your amp's vacuum tube rectifier to a solid state rectifier, reducing tube sag for a tighter sound and feel. The tube rectifier can easily be swapped back in when sag is desired. This Yellow Jacket® is a solid state device and as such does not come with vacuum tubes.

Retainer (Belton). for use with EL84 tubes, mounts to chassis. Steel plate with nickel plating and natural coil spring. Note: these retainers are for specialized socket below chassis mounting. (See mounting drawing below.) The springs are too short for standard sockets mounted level with the chassis surface.
