Tremolo - Wilkinson by Gotoh, VSVG, Vintage
If you are looking for a tremolo that is designed for enhanced sustain and better reliability, then you have found it. The VSVG Vintage tremolo features enlongated baseplate holes so the screws won't bind and it gives a very smooth, accurate return to pitch. With the string mounting holes being staggered in the steel block you will find much more tuning stability because of the more consistent string angle over the adjustable locking bent-steel saddles. Hardware included.

Will this drop in a fender mim strat without any modifications?
Asked by Anonymous on January 31st, 2019.
It will most likely fit without modification, however, you will need to determine that the center to center for the mounting holes measures 56mm.
It won't, this is a 56mm string spacing, mim strats with 6 screw holes have a 2-1/16 mounting spacing, or 52.5mm
Since it has oval holes it does fit in a MIM body. I have done it.
Here is an example:

Will this fit a PRS?
Asked by Anonymous on October 20th, 2016.
We do not have any experience with this trem on a PRS. The center-to-center spacing on the 6 mounting screws (length) is 56mm. Width of the trem is 41mm. Trem block is 41.2mm deep. Please see the spec sheet above.
I would compare these specs with your PRS trem to insure a proper fit.

Will this fit an American Special Stratocaster?
Asked by Anonymous on July 28th, 2017.
If your guitar has a 6 screw bridge this should work but it is always a good idea to take some measurements . The center to center distance between the two outside screw holes is 2.20" (56mm). The sustain block is 2.91" (74mm) long, 0.5" (12.7mm) wide, and 1.62 (41.2mm) in depth.

Would this fit a Warmoth strat body routed for a 6-hole vintage bridge? The measurements seem slightly off to me.
Warmoth states 55.9 mm, VSVG states 54.36 mm. Any help would be appreciated!
Asked by Anonymous on May 1st, 2020.
According to the tech drawing and the measurements we have available, the mounting center to center on this bridge is 56mm. This also has elongated holes in the center strings to allow for the proper alignment on all six screws. From all the info we have, this shouldn't have any problems fitting the body in question.

I'm after a brass trem block. What material is this one made from? If not brass is it easily detached?
Asked by Anonymous on March 18th, 2021.
This block is steel and only attached with screws, so removing it wouldn't be a complicated procedure, however, the offset string hole placement in both the block and the mounting plate would require a replacement block specifically designed for this unit.
