Transistors

The 2N2369 is a silicon NPN transistor in a TO-18 metal case type. The 2N2369 is primarily intended for use in high speed switching and VHF amplification applications.

BC149C NPN transistor in a rare Mullard Lockfit package. The BC149C is the equivalent of a BC109C but in the Lockfit package rather than a TO-18. The BC149C was used in a variety of audio and radio equipment and works well for fuzz and other effects. It can be found in the Brian May treble boost and the Electrolabs Fuzz.

The 2N2907 is a silicon planar epitaxial PNP transistor in a TO-18 metal case type. The 2N2907 is designed for use in high speed saturated switching and general purpose applications.

The TIP47 power transistor is intended for use in linear and switching applications. This series is designed for line operated audio output amplifiers, switchmode power supply drivers and other switching applications.

2SC945 NPN transistors. This is a silicon NPN transistor in a TO-92 package. The 2SC945 was used in many classic Boss pedals such as the CE-2 chorus.

BC238B NPN transistor in a TO-92 package. The BC238 is used in a variety of vintage pedals such as the Schaller Fuzz, a version of the Brian May treble boost,and later Jen / Tonebender fuzz pedals. The BC238B is a variant of the BC108B and works well in other classic fuzz pedals such as Fuzz Face and Big Muff builds.

The 2N1711 is a silicon planar epitaxial NPN transistor in a TO-39 metal case. It is intended for use in high performance amplifiers, oscillators and switching circuits. The 2N1711 is a great choice for amplifiers where low noise is an important factor.

PCB for converting SMD SOT-23 transistors and FETs to through hole footprints. This adapter board fits SOT-23 packages. Surface mount MMBFJ201 JFETs presoldered to TO-92 adapter boards. Use wire, clipped component leads, or pin headers to easily attach these adapters to PCBs using TO-92 footprints for J201s. These JFETs can be found in many effects pedals, synthesizers, and other projects. The J201 / MMBFJ201 is an N-Channel general purpose amplifier JFET. This device is designed primarily for low level audio and general purpose applications with high impedance signal sources. The pinout is marked on the PCB and is DSG when facing the component side.

2SD77 NPN germanium transistors. The 2SD77 is a popular NPN for fuzz pedals and other effects. The NPN polarity allows for use with standard pedal power supplies.
