I have all the pieces of the kit except the ear type pieces that kinda look like large strap buttons for guitar, that the legs actually rest on when leaned back. Can I purchase 2 of those separatel?
Asked by Anonymous on December 28th, 2016.
We only have these parts as a kit.
I bet you could get away with using a bass string retainer, in place of the missing parts.
is it the same part ( tilt abck leg stop and string guide)?
They are very similar, but slightly different. The major issue being that the bass string retainer uses a smaller diameter of screw and with the larger screw being used in the leg stop, we would not advise using a bass string retainer as a replacement.

Does the kit include installation instructions (with measurements to drill holes, etc.)?
Asked by Anonymous on February 9th, 2017.
No, these only come with the legs and mounting hardware.
iN REGARD TO THE TILT BACK LEGS, WHEN YOU HAVE NO HARD WARE FOR THEM MEANING THE NUTS AND THE WASHERS AND NUTS YOU WILL FIND THEM AT HARD WARE SHOPS OR ON LINE NOW THE TWO STOPS AS YOU REFERRED TO THEM AS ShowI have all the pieces of the kit except the ear type pieces that kinda look like large strap buttons for guitar, that the legs actually rest on when leaned back. Can I purchase 2 of those separately? you can use the string tree off a fender bass they look identical but I can't remember if the hole was the same size but that would not matter as you would just drill the correct size hole anyway study one of the pictures to see how many washers you need to go with them cheers terry

Looking to put a leg kit on a Champion 100? Would I use 14" or 16"?
Asked by Anonymous on February 3rd, 2020.
According to the manufacturer, the Champion 100 is 19" tall, and the closest amp with tilt back legs would be the 1965 Fender Twin Reverb Reissue at 19.87". The Twin uses the 16" legs, so we would say that they are the most likely candidate. Keep in mind, we can not verify that the buttons will interfere with the chassis of that particular amp, so you may want to look into that before installing these on your amp.
Yo también estoy buscando hacer los mismo, podrías decirme si te sirvieron las patas de 16", saludos "I am also looking to do the same, could you tell me if the 16 " legs served you. Regards"

My Blond 212 bandmaster cabinet side is 11 3/8" wide 20" tall. which tilt back legs do I need? also need all parts for the bandmaster head to piggyback the cabinet.
thanks been wanting to do this for some time.
Asked by Anonymous on December 2nd, 2016.
From doing a quick internet search, it seems that the 16" legs should work for your amp. To connect your head to your cab piggyback style you need the following part: S-H252, S-H253, and S-H251.

Hi this works on the Fender Blues Junior as well? Do I need to do any new holes on the amp?
Asked by andretenenbaum on January 22nd, 2017.
Yes, you will need to drill holes into the sides of your amp to install these tilt back legs. You may need to remove the chassis to do this properly. Since some of the parts in the chassis contain lethal voltage, you need to use extreme caution. If you have any doubts about you ability to drain the lethal voltage from your amp please consult a qualified tech.

Hi. Which size be used with Princeton 112 plus (solid state) amp. Will it work out with this amp? Thanks
Asked by Anonymous on June 4th, 2018.
The 14" legs are the ideal size for small amps, but the Princeton 112 did not have these installed when manufactured, so additional holes would need to be drilled into the cabinet for installation.

The 16" legs are often used on 2x12 amps like the Twin Reverb. The 19" legs would be seen on 4x10 amps such as the Super Reverb.
