BreadBoard - Solderless, 400 point pattern
Solderless (plug-in) breadboard with 400 connection tie-points (i.e. 400 wire insertion holes) and 4 power rails. Solderless breadboards are great for building and testing new circuits because parts can be easily inserted and removed making them completely re-usable. This breadboard has a 300 tie-point IC-circuit area plus four 25 tie-point power rails. The housing is made of white ABS plastic, with a printed legend giving numbers and letters for columns and rows. The internal contacts are phosphor bronze with a plated nickel finish and a peelable adhesive tape backing is provided for attaching it to a surface. Breadboard - Solderable PCB, 3.00” x 1.90”
The SB400 Solderable PCB BreadBoard enables you to transfer your circuit and wires from a plug-in breadboard without recutting wires or changing your layout. The SB400 has the same pattern and spacing as a standard 400 connection point BB400 solderless plug-in breadboard. It has a standard 5-hole strip for each IC pin, just like solderless breadboards plus 4 power rails. Integrated Circuit - SSI2144, Ladder VCF, Sound Semiconductor
The second of two legendary SSM filter updates, the FatKeys™ SSI2144 is a dedicated four-pole low-pass ladder filter with on-chip resonance control. Original designer Dave Rossum did a number of performance updates such as lower noise, improved control feedthrough, and logical pin grouping but otherwise left this sweet-sounding VCF alone. A semiconductor device that, above a certain reverse voltage(the zener value) has a sudden rise in current. If forward biased, the diode is an ordinary rectifier. When reverse biased, it exhibits a sharp break in its current-voltage graph. Voltage across the diode remains essentially constant for any further increase of reverse current.
