High quality single row machine pin sockets made by Preci-Dip. These sockets are the break-away type and can easily snap into smaller sizes such as 5 separate transistor sockets.

This is a set of two 2N1309 germanium transistors that have been hand-selected to work in the germanium Fuzz Face circuit. Also included are 4 metal film resistors to use in the circuit. In most cases, the values have been modified from the stock values slightly to ensure that the collector of Q2 biases to roughly -4.5V. A data sheet containing the schematic and the resistor values is included so that you can use your own resistor type if you would prefer. There is a range of bias voltages that can sound nice in a Fuzz Face, and voltages in original units varied. These transistors have been tested with bias voltage, sound, and noise level in mind. Note that due to a variety of factors such as battery/PSU voltage, temperature, and component tolerance, the voltage on the collector of Q2 may not measure at exactly -4.5V, but it should be close in a properly-built circuit.

The Switchcraft Type 111X enclosed ¼” jack is a high quality mono jack. This jack has two solder lugs. One for the tip and one for the sleeve. These jacks have been widely used across the industry and can also be found in many popular 5U synthesizers. Includes nut and washer.

A great digital reverb sound that easily replaces a spring reverberation unit. Simple interface requires only input, output, +5V, and ground. Output requires no external capacitors.

The 2N2484 is a silicon planar epitaxial NPN transistor in a TO-18 metal case type. The 2N2484 is primarily intended for use in high performance, low level, low noise amplifier applications.

Dual low power opamps in an 8-pin DIP package. The TL062 offers a high input impedance and 1MHz bandwidth.

High-quality USA made knobs from Davies Molding. The large 1470 pointer knob is made of solid phenolic and features a fine ridged grip with a distinctive point. This classic knob has been used on a variety of guitar pedals such as the Klon and countless EHX effects.

Small plastic control knob with set screw and brass insert. This knob features a radial-brushed metal top and a stylish vertical knurl. The style is similar to the Boss middle knobs used on many pedals. Fits ¼” (6.35mm) pot shafts.

New old stock 2N404A PNP germanium transistors manufactured by Texas Instruments. These TI 2N404A feature gold plated leads. The 2N404A is used in many fuzz pedals along with other effects. The 2N404A is the same as the 2N404 but with a higher voltage rating. This transistor is in a TO-5 package with long leads commonly found on germanium transistors.

Threaded through dress nuts for use with mini toggle switches. Unlike the other versions of this dress nut, this nut is not capped allowing the nut to thread past the top of the switch’s bushing. The uncapped top can be useful where internal depth is an issue such as parallel PCB mounting. These plated dress nuts feature a chamfered edge for a professional look and work on any 1/4-40 UNS threaded bushing. Two sides are flatted for use with a tool when fastening.

LM1458 dual op amp in an 8-pin DIP package. The LM1458 is a general purpose dual operational amplifier. The two amplifiers share a common bias network and power supply leads. Otherwise, their operation is completely independent. Features

The Sound Semiconductor DAB2130 is a pre-soldered DIP converter for the SSI2130. This board features the SSI2130 and two decoupling caps for the V+ and V- inputs. The pinout is labelled on the board and matches the QFN pinout. This adapter features a 32 pin DIP base with a .600 in. width. The pins are standard male headers so 2.54mm female headers are recommended for socketing the board. For the standard QFN version, please see P-Q-SSI2130. The CD4049UB devices are inverting hex buffers, and feature logic-level conversion using only one supply voltage (VCC). The input-signal high level (VIH) can exceed the VCC supply voltage when these devices are used for logic level conversions. These devices are intended for use as CMOS to DTL or TTL converters and can drive directly two DTL or TTL loads. (VCC = 5 V, VOL ≤ 0.4 V, and IOL ≥ 3.3 mA.) Features:

The AS3080E is Alfa’s version of the CA3080 IC. The AS3080E is a gain block which is the operational-transconductance-amplifier (OTA). The AS3080E has differential input and a single-ended, push-pull, class A output. Amplifier bias
input may be used either for gating or for linear gain control. High output impedance and transconductance (gM) is directly proportional to the amplifier bias current (IABC). Linearizing diodes are provided at the inputs to reduce distortion and allow higher input levels. The result is a 10-dB signal-to-noise improvement referenced to 0.5 percent THD.
The AS3080E is notable for it’s high slew rate (50V/µs), which makes it especially useful for multiplexer and fast unity-gain voltage followers.

High-quality USA made knobs from Rogan Corp. These large, puck-shaped, skirted pointer knobs from Rogan’s PT Series feature a soft rubber grip molded over a solid polymer knob. PT Series knobs can be found on synthesizer modules from Make Noise, Mutable Instruments and others. Fits 6mm D-shafts.

LM386 Low Voltage Audio Power Amplifier The LM386 is a mono low voltage amplifier that can be used in a variety of applications. It can drive loads from 4 Ω to 32 Ω. The gain is internally set to 20 but it can be modified from 20 to 200 by placing a resistor and capacitor between pins 1 and 8. As this is an Op Amp it can be used in different configurations to fit in several applications. The internal gain setting resistor allows the LM386 to be used in a very low part count system. In addition a series resistor can be placed between pins 1 and 5 to modify the gain and frequency response for specific applications. These are found in many small audio amplifiers and even tiny pedal sized guitar amplifiers! There are tons of possibilities for this little Op Amp.

20kΩ W taper Alpha 16mm pots with a solid shaft and right angle PC mount terminals. The smaller size is useful for builds with limited panel space such as guitar pedals, synthesizer modules, and adding modifications to equipment. Washer and nut included.

Black PCB mounted 3.5mm mono jacks commonly found in DIY Eurorack projects. These jacks feature black hardware with a matching black nut. They also use a square bushing plate for added durability. Mounting nut is included.

Audio taper, vertical mount, Alpha pots with a 6.35mm shaft diameter featuring 11 detents across the rotation. The 11 detent versions are useful for builds where 1-10 settings are commonly used or if the pot is used as a rotary switch along with a microcontroller. LM311 single comparator IC in an 8-pin DIP package. The LM311 device is a single high-speed voltage comparator. These devices are designed to operate from a wide range of power supply voltages, including ±15-V supplies for operational amplifiers and 5-V supplies for logic systems. The output levels are compatible with most TTL and MOS circuits. These comparators are capable of driving lamps or relays and switching voltages up to 50 V at 50 mA. All inputs and outputs can be isolated from system ground. The outputs can drive loads referenced to ground, VCC+ or VCC−. Offset balancing and strobe capabilities are available, and the outputs can be wire-OR connected.
