Stripboard made with a phenolic substrate. Phenolic boards are found in many vintage electronics before the use of fiberglass became common. This stripboard features standard 0.1” (2.54mm) spacing. 2N169 NPN germanium transistors in an oval package. The oval package is sometimes referred to as a top hat package. The 2N169 is a popular NPN for fuzz pedals and other effects. The NPN polarity allows for use with standard pedal power supplies.

Surface mount MMBFJ201 JFET. Commonly used in place of the discontinued through-hole J201. These JFETs can be found in many effects pedals, synthesizers, and other projects. The MMBFJ201 is an N-Channel general purpose amplifier JFET. This device is designed primarily for low level audio and general purpose applications with high impedance signal sources.

The BC557 is a silicon general purpose PNP transistor in a TO-92 package. The BC557’s typical applications include signal processing, amplification, and switching.

ST2 StripBoard is a prototyping circuit board with a standard long strip pattern. Tracks run the length of the board. The long tracks are convenient for power and ground rails, and for signal buses. Strips can be cut as needed to make smaller tracks and circuit pads. It has 0.1" hole spacing for DIP integrated circuits and headers and other parts. ST2 has higher quality than traditional stripboard. The holes are drilled, not punched. The base material is high-quality FR4 glass epoxy board. It has better stability and moisture resistance than boards using phenolic or SRBP (synthetic resin bonded paper), which can warp with exposure to humidity. Features

The 2N3704 is a general purpose silicon NPN transistor in a TO-92 case. The 2N3704 is primarily intended for general purpose amplification and switching applications.

TC1044 charge pump voltage converter in an 8 pin DIP package. The TC1044S is a pin-compatible upgrade to the Industry standard TC7660 charge pump voltage converter. It converts a +1.5V to +12V input to a corresponding –1.5V to –12V output using only two low cost capacitors, eliminating inductors and their associated cost, size and EMI. Added features include an extended supply range to 12V, and a frequency boost pin for higher operating frequency, allowing the use of smaller external capacitors. The on-board oscillator operates at a nominal frequency of 10kHz. Frequency is increased to 45kHz when pin 1 is connected to V+.

The Sound Semiconductor DAB2140 is a pre-soldered DIP converter for the SSI2140. This board features the SSI2140 and two decoupling caps for the V+ and V- inputs. The pinout is labelled on the board and matches the SSOP pinout. This adapter features a 20 pin DIP base with a .600 in. width. The pins are standard male headers so 2.54mm female headers are recommended for socketing the board. For the SSOP version, please see P-Q-SSI2140. A refresh of a classic design, the FatKeys™ SSI2140 preserves mojo of the beloved SSM2040 and adds temperature compensation of gm cells and the exponential control port. The CD40106B device consists of six Schmitt-Trigger inputs. Each circuit functions as an inverter with Schmitt-Trigger input. The trigger switches at different points for positive- and negative-going signals. The difference between the positive-going voltage (VP) and the negative-going voltages (VN) is defined as hysteresis voltage (VH). Features:

The TL072 is a high speed JFET input dual operational amplifier incorporating well matched, high voltage JFET and bipolar transistors in a monolithic integrated circuit. The device features high slew rates, low input bias and offset current, and low offset voltage temperature coefficient.

Genuine Switchcraft ⅜” knurled nut commonly used on ¼” jacks. This nickel plated knurled nut has a ⅜”-32 threading and offers a clean look on builds using these nuts. The ⅜”-32 threading fits other hardware with matching threading such as CTS potentiometers.

µA741 single op amp in an 8-pin DIP package. The µA741 device is a general-purpose operational amplifier featuring offset-voltage null capability. The high common-mode input voltage range and the absence of latch-up make the amplifier ideal for voltage-follower applications. The device is short-circuit protected and the internal frequency compensation ensures stability without external components. A low-value potentiometer may be connected between the offset null inputs to null out the offset voltage. Features

The P-K380 is a high quality Davies 1510 clone. This classic design can be found on countless pedals, synths, amps and other equipment. CD4046B CMOS Micropower Phase-Locked Loop (PLL) consists of a low-power, linear voltage-controlled oscillator (VCO) and two different phase comparators having a common signal-input amplifier and a common comparator input.
