Speakers & Components
Speakers. The last opportunity to modify your tone. Unlike hi-fi speakers which attempt to create sounds that are true to the musical source fed them, guitar speakers impart their own tone. Your amp/cabinet pretty much determines three things about what speaker to select; speaker size, impedance and power rating. (See our tech corner article on Speaker Impedance, Power Handling and Wiring). But the tone is up to you! Speaker replacement is probably the easiest mod you can perform.
EminenceAn American manufacturer of guitar speakers, bass speakers, and PA loudspeakers since 1966.
CelestionFounded in 1924, Celestion has grown to become one of the world's largest manufacturers of loudspeakers.
PatriotMost red-blooded American guitar players have a favorite amp tone they dream about. It may be a 50s twang, a 60s groove or the edge of the 90s. Whatever the sound, from the bayou to the blues, the Patriot series has a speaker that can deliver it. From thumping bass, mellow mid-tones or soaring highs, Patriot speakers offer different balances of that spectrum with a wide selection of models. Pick your sound, and then pick your speaker.
Neodymium SeriesJust before the turn of this century, speaker manufacturers started seriously evaluating the potential benefits of using neodymium magnets in loudspeakers. Although neodymium magnets were expensive, they allowed loudspeaker motors to be as little as half the weight of comparable ceramic magnet motors. Prices of neodymium started coming down and interest in lighter weight speakers grew, as did neodymium speaker options. Eminence has become one of the industry leaders in neodymium loudspeaker design. The Eminence LA, Deltalite and Kappalite models represent very lightweight, high performance loudspeakers without compromises in power handling, performance or reliability.

Speaker - Celestion, 10", G10M Greenback, 30W
The 10" that thinks it's a 12". This speaker was developed to recapture the legendary sound of Celestion's 1970s 10s - a 10" speaker with a surprisingly meaty tone. Low in output but with the weighty low-end balance of a 12", the G10 Greenback features a complex, creamy mid-range and smooth, vintage top-end. Presented with overdrive distortion, it displays a well balanced crunch.
Speaker - Celestion, 15", G15V-100 Fullback, 100W
With a larger cone delivering an extended low end response, the 100-watt Fullback has a big, deep voice, delivering smooth and expressive tones seemingly without effort. While retaining our classic, harmonically complex and finely detailed mid-range, the larger 15" cone of the Fullback shifts this characteristic down a register. Clean sounds are warm and expressive, revealing and enhancing the qualities of your amp and guitar without unnecessary colouration. Overdrive sounds are complex and musical; push harder for a weighty, contralto growl, with a softer, warmer mid-range.
Speaker - Celestion, 10", G10 Alnico Gold, 40W
The G10 Gold is the ultimate 10" speaker, blending unmistakable Alnico class with a rich low-end, creamy midrange and vintage chiming top-end. Springy, warm, revealing and highly expressive, it can be used singly or in pairs to add a classy sheen to any amp, or in a 4x10 configuration for higher volume depth, warmth and shimmer, with less of the boom associated with 4x12 cabinets.
Speaker - Celestion, 10", G10 Creamback, 45W
The beloved Creamback is finally in a 10 inch package. The G10 Creamback is hand-built in the U.K. using the same materials and construction techniques as its 12” counterparts. The Creamback series offers increased power handling with a vintage British voicing.

Speaker - Celestion, 10", Vintage G10V, 60W
A worthy successor to the Vintage 10, the G10 Vintage is a 10" speaker with bags of attitude. With the fast response of a 10" but with the strong and creamy vocal tones of a 12", the G10 is the ideal choice to add depth to hollow-sounding amps, or for players who want to get humbucker-type girth from single-coils. Can be used singly to add vocal warmth to small valve combos, or in quartets for a weightier but still lively attack.
