bought these for Fender acoustasonic 40-which they claimed had 6 1/2 inch speakers.
These 6 inch spekers bolted to same holes. This amp flubbed out with low notes..NOT ANY MORE..
These Jensens solved that ,plus added more volume and clearer sound too!

Great replacement for my Vox Da5 amplifier. The original speaker was bright, this speaker is warm. The higher gain amp models sound much less tinnier- more “crunchy”. Amp is also louder now, so this Jensen must have a higher sensitivity rating.

This is a 6 inch speaker, so is a vox pathfinder 10, vox is not a special 6.5 inch speaker, it is a 6 inch chinese lightweight throwaway, thats why everyone wants to put a 8 inch replacement in because vox says its a 6.5 inch speaker and nobody makes one. Just get the Jensen ceramic 6 inch vintage and its a perfect fit, holes line up perfect, a quick 10 minuite replacement that sounds great!!!! Get the 8 ohm version as Vox is 8 ohm, jensen is a real speaker, and you will be able to hear why Jensen is one of the best speakers available. Shame on Vox China, Korg for not giving true specs on the horrible speaker they put in a great little amp. 6 INCH NOT 6.5!!!!!!! No need for an 8 inch, just go with the 6!

This is a great speaker for the money. I put it in my Fender Frontman 10G and it sounds so much better. You can't go wrong.

I bought this as an upgrade to my trusty Fender Champion 600. The stock speaker was not terrible as some claim, but it does lack in some areas such as having a loose bottom and being raspy with overdrive. The Jensen C6V is a beautiful sounding upgrade to this amplifier. It’s has a very clean, full, vintage American sound (more akin to early mid 60s than 50s) with a firm bottom end and subdued yet present midrange. The top end has a lovely “chime” without being harsh. Because it’s rated at 20
watts, it’s a little louder and gives the Champion more headroom. With single coils, it barely breaks up on 12 (which is just fine with me) but gets a nice crunch with P90s. If you’re looking for a more “tweed” sound, you might want to look elsewhere. This, to me, is a more “blackface” sound with a hint of “tweed” mixed in.

This is definitely the speaker to put in your Champion if you want a beautiful clean sound with more headroom and less breakup. For me, it’s perfect!

Bought the Jensen c6v and mounted it in an old Jamo bookshelf hi-fi speaker box. Running a Victoria Electro-king amp (1956 Gibson GA-40 reproduction) through it as a means to reduce overall volume. Works well at reducing volume due to the 92 decibels rating. Only 20 watts but handles the dual 6v6 GA-40 with ease. Balanced across all frequencies. Plenty of low end and not harsh at all. Could be a 60s Jensen. A little boxy after first strum but opened up within 30 min of playing and sounds beautiful. A huge 3D sound for its size. A great speaker and great service from Amplified Parts: great customer service.
