Speaker - Jensen® Jets, 10", Falcon, 40W, Ferrite
A very successful and versatile 10”, the Falcon 10 adds a new dimension of openness to the classic, fat and warm tone of its 12” version. The seamed cone membrane delivers an unexpected bass response for its 10” size and it is balanced perfectly with its sweet, yet cutting and present high end.
Guitarist Description: Warm, straightforward tone with a pronounced low end. When presented with overdrive distortion, it presents some mean fuzz.

Nice even tone response with a tight bottom and no high end sizzle. Put this in a 64 Princeton clone. "Good" tone is always a subjective thing. I'll admit I didn't expect much from a speaker at this price point but I preferred this over 2 other more expensive speakers. I like the rolled off high end this gives but still has some chime. My amp tech preferred this also... Your mileage may vary!
I have a Peavey Delta Blues amp that I've always liked, except for the speakers. I can't believe how good the Jensen Falcon 10" speakers I just bought sound in this amp right out of the box. I know the speakers are still tight and breaking in, but man do they sound great without even being broken in! All the lows I was missing are back, and the mid's are articulate and clean again (all the mud and congestion of the Blue Marvel speakers is gone). Take into account the insane bang for the buck (speakers were only 45 bucks each) and you have what is for my money the best speaker bargain out there. Highly recommended.
Very nice sounding speaker clear as a bell when played clean with a strong bass response . Very responsive to picking can play at high volume but when lightly picked it stays at a low volume. Comes alive when kicking in a overdrive pedal but never gets muddy. Just a awesome speaker.
