Speaker - Jensen® D-Series, 12", N12D, 150W
Jensen D-Series. Extended response on the upper range to transduce the detail of the digital effects and the harmonic content of a mic'ed guitar cabinet. Directly derived from the traditional guitar speakers, with integrated paper surround, the N12D is able to return the feel, the warmth and the character of a classic guitar amplifier, but also the treble content and the complex harmonics of the overdrive, modulation, delay and reverb effects, as well as the crisp, natural tone of an amplified acoustic guitar. The Neodymium magnet design allows a weight reduction to only 2.4kgs.
- Lows: Tight
- Mids: Articulate
- Highs: Transparent
- Overdrive: Dynamic
Guitarist Description: Playing a modelling amp through the PA made loading in easy but I lost the feel and control I used to have on stage with a traditional rig. The lightweight N12D gave me the best of both worlds putting the cabinet back on stage without the worry of inconsistency in my sound from venue to venue.

Product Reviews
I purchased both of the D Series Speakers (N12D x 2 and C12D x 2). The purpose was to see how they responded in 2 x12 Cabs against the GR Guitar Cabinet, Kemper Powered Kone Cabinet and a Celestion FX12-x200 2 x 12 ported cabinet. In my opinion they topped them all except the GR Guitar AT G110 A however they gave the GR a run for the money. The C12's are the brighter of the two and the N12's are on the warmer side. This was true testing with the Kemper Stage, Helix Floor, FM9, Quad Cortex and Boss GT 1000. Each of the cabinets responded even better after some tweaking to the various MEU's EQ's and output settings. These speakers have a very guitar cabinet feel to them and based on the price should be a solid consideration for anyone looking toward FRFR, FRLR, etc with the use of modelers. Only 2 weeks have past since putting these to work so it will be interesting to review again after some time and use cases have transpired. Overall they are a solid choice for the Digital Domain!
