Is this a subwoofer? And would it be a good replacement for the 12 inch speaker in my Pioneer CS-G301WAll that 8ohm with a max music power of 120 watts?
Asked by Anonymous on October 14th, 2018.
This is a guitar speaker with a max power rating of 80W and would not be advised to be used as a subwoofer.

Why do alot of your speakers on this celestion site not have all the dimension measurements? your greenback speakers do, as others... but your 70/80 doesn't. Could you tell me the total depth dimension of the 12" celestion "Seventy-80" 16 Ohm speaker please? thank you, Bob.

Product Reviews
Celestion 12 Inch Seventy 80 Watt Speaker.
This speaker is great because it allows entry-level amplifier buyers have a good quality speaker.
The speaker is not for everyone and of course, professional guitars will buy the best sound system speakers for their amplifiers. The whole point is that we as individual artists cultivate our sound pallet through performing, recording, and jamming, and experimentations. I purchase 5 of the initially released 15 Watt Monoprice amplifiers that use the speaker as OEM. These are really good but through money and experimentation I can not say these are bad or poo speaker. They do great job and they don't fail.
If you like a totally more bassy sound, kinda muffled...this is would maybe work, but there are so many better options. I personally dont like it, especially for $80..It sounds better if you add a "trebly" type speaker with it to even it out. If you only need one speaker, i would look elsewhere. There is a reason they put these in alot of amps at the factory....the celestion company knows most people will upgrade their 70/80 for another celestion speaker more than likely....all about $$$....no famous artist uses these.
