1 answers Looking from the bottom of this socket, where is pin number one? I am building the Bob Heil pine board project and I want to make sure of the correct pine placement for the 12AX7. Please advise.

Looking at the 3rd photo in the parts information, (the gap in the pins is at 6 o'clock) the first pin is going to be the pin directly to the left (approx 7 o'clock) of the gap.
