Good product. Chassis hole requirements bear some better definition though. 1" to 1-1/4" is appropriate if you can live with the base of the tube not contacting the socket. The thickness of the panel will exist between the tube base and the socket. In my application (6A6 tube) it required a 1-3/8" for the base to make it through the chassis panel.
