The Mod Electronics Reverb Tanks are high quality upgrade units. Some of the major differences between the Mod®s and other reverb tanks are that the Transducers are wired directly to their respective RCA jacks as opposed to current production tanks where Transducers are connected by a detachable plug to their respective RCA jacks. This makes the tanks less receptive to any outside interference. The original Hammond Accutronics tanks from the 1960s were also wired directly to their respective RCA jacks. In addition, very close attention has been paid to the spacing and size of the lamination of the Transducers resulting in a more vintage like tone.

No, the correct tank for your amp would be a 4EB2C1B.

The Ampeg Reverberocket is included in the list of compatible amps for this reverb tank, but we are not able to verify that it remained the same tank throughout production. If your amp has a input Impedance of 1475 Ohms and an Output Impedance of 2575 Ohms, this will work for your amp.

This tank would not be compatible with a Deluxe Reverb. You would need the 4AB3C1B.

We do not have sufficient reference materials to confirm the correct tank for the amp in question. It is advised that you remove the original tank and visually inspect it for clues that could indicate the correct replacement. If you can provide any additional information on the tank in your amp, you can email us and we will do our best to help you find the right tank.
