Will this work on a Peavey Delta Blues Amp from the 90's? Will I need anything else?

The 9EB2C1B tank should work in your amp. As long as the amp has RCA cables for connection you should not need anything else. Some prefer a reverb bag for extra protection from outside noise. The part number for a compatible bag would be P-RBAG-17-A

This is a great upgrade in any amp as long as it is compatible. We know that these work with CC series AC30's and should work wit the C2.

Yes, although you might want to look into the 9EB3C1B tank, which has a longer decay. This works *really* well with my AC30CC2X, and I am more than happy with the sound and decay.

they say the Blues JR uses a 8EB2C1B and the Vaporizer uses an upgrade 8EB2C1B reverb tank...so what is good for a Blues JR is just as good for a Vaporizer?
best logical assumption right?

The Blues Jr. uses an 8EB2C1B tank. If the Vaporizer uses a 9EB2C1B, they will need different tanks.

Stock this will not fit in the Blues Jr. I carefully cut the ends off making sure not to compromise any electronics and my amps reverb is now awesome!!

Will this work on Fender Frontman 212R?
Asked by Anonymous on June 23rd, 2016.
Form our limited resources it appears that the Frontman 212R originally came with a 8DB2C1B. This is a 3 spring short tank with a medium decay. The tank in this listing (9EB2C1B) is not compatible. Do a search for SKU: P-RK-8DB2C1B to find the correct tank.

Will this tank fit a Peavey Session 400 and Session 500?
Asked by Anonymous on August 9th, 2016.
Always pay close attention to the series of letters and numbers associated with each reverb tank. In this case 9EB2C1B. If these numbers match your existing tank then this replacement will be compatible. Please refer to our tech corner article explaining reverb tanks for a full explanation of what these numbers signify in terms of determining compatibility with your amp.

The Blues Deluxe used two different tanks over the years. The ones from the 90's used a 4BB3C1B. This tank is not compatible with the Blues Deluxe's from the 90's.

As an upgrade, is this compatible with 2004 Fender Blues Deluxe Reissue?

As long as the second and third character match (EB) then it should be compatible and you can play with the other specs.

I would like to replace the reverb tank on my Hot Rod Deville 410 (2000) with a 3-spring tank. Will this work as a replacement? If not, do you carry one that will?
Asked by Anonymous on May 15th, 2017.
Basically, if your current tank as "EB" as the second and third character then this tank should be compatible.

I have a 2009 Fender Frontman 212r and would like to upgrade its weak reverb unit. I pulled the unit from the amp to look for the tank number, but found none. There was a label inside the tank stating "FA Reverb-3." It is a small, black, 3 spring unit with "Genuine Fender Reverb by accutronics" label on top. I'd love to get a long spring unit if possible. This one is just too noisy at any level over 4. Your help would be greatly appreciated.

Absolutely. The decay will be longer but they are identical in every other aspect.
Product Reviews
Great Replacement Product over Mfg Products. Very Easy To Install. Sound Much Better than Old Reverb Tank. Install Piece of Cardboard underneath if you dont have a Reverb Bag. Eddie
Great improvement over stock fender. Installed in blues deluxe reissue. Great reverb unit.
I received the tank in just a few days, and was very surprised of the quality compared to the original tank in my amp. Very easy to install, and sounds great.
The MOD reverb tank is a big improvement over the original tank in my Peavey Nashville 112, and the service from Amplified Parts was great.
Installed the reverb tank in my Nashville 400 and took it to the gig on Saturday. The lead guitar player, not knowing what I did commented on how nice the amp sounded.
This reverb tank sounds great now!
Excellent reverb tank. Really happy with this. My Vox AC30CC2X's tank was dead, so I ordered this and it drops right in place, truly plug and play. Lush and warm vintage reverb, decay is good and more than enough for the sound I want. The MOD tank build quality is excellent; it's a real upgrade and a comparatively modest price. Highly recommended!
MOD tank sounds very good in my Nashville 400. I highly recommend it to anyone having any problems with their reverb. It’s cheaper and sounds more like a Fender. You don’t have to turn it up as far to get nice sweet sounding reverb.
Excellent tank. Very Lush. Excellent upgrade compared to stock accutronics tank.
