Compatible amps include VOX AC30TBR (‘91-’93 Vintage top Boost Reverb), Gibson Super Goldtone GA-30RV, Gibson Super Goldtone GA-60RV.

The Mod Electronics Reverb Tanks are high quality upgrade units. Some of the major differences between the Mod®s and other reverb tanks are that the Transducers are wired directly to their respective RCA jacks as opposed to current production tanks where Transducers are connected by a detachable plug to their respective RCA jacks. This makes the tanks less receptive to any outside interference. The original Hammond Accutronics tanks from the 1960s were also wired directly to their respective RCA jacks. In addition, very close attention has been paid to the spacing and size of the lamination of the Transducers resulting in a more vintage like tone.

1. The decay time is set. 2. This is simply the reverb tank and has no internal power supply. It is not designed to be plugged directly to an interface and we can not advise on how to accomplish this.

This is the one MOD reverb tank that is actually fully line level. It works well with a powered send and receive effects loop on a mixer. However, the decay time is fixed because, as Brad mentions above, this is a mechanical device. You might want to look at the Radial Tank Driver to get something that has more adjustments.

Simply a fantastic reverb. I had to substitute a made in USA Accutronics on my Gibson GA30-RV head and I decide to go with this MOD.
The sound is absolutely great, possibly better than the original one.
