The Mod Electronics Reverb Tanks are high quality upgrade units. Some of the major differences between the Mod®s and other reverb tanks are that the Transducers are wired directly to their respective RCA jacks as opposed to current production tanks where Transducers are connected by a detachable plug to their respective RCA jacks. This makes the tanks less receptive to any outside interference. The original Hammond Accutronics tanks from the 1960s were also wired directly to their respective RCA jacks. In addition, very close attention has been paid to the spacing and size of the lamination of the Transducers resulting in a more vintage like tone.

From our limited research the TSL100 comes with a 4BB3C1D. Always pay close attention to the series of letters and numbers associated with each reverb tank. In this case 4BB3C1B. If these numbers match your existing tank then this replacement will be compatible. Please refer to our tech corner article explaining reverb tanks for a full explanation of what these numbers signify in terms of determining compatibility with your amp. https://www.amplifiedparts.com/tech_corner/spring_reverb_tanks_explained_and_compared

From our brief research, The 79-201-02 is a replacement for an 8BB2C1A reverb tank. This 4BB3C1B will have a different mounting plane and will need to be mounted open side down. The original tank was mounted open side up. If you are looking for a direct replacement we recommend the 8BB2C1A.

We simply do not have the resources or reference materials to determine if this tank is compatible with your amp. You may want to contact Laney for compatibility.

Yes but you will need to make sure you have enough room for the new tank as it is 16.75" in length. If you do not have enough room, you could use an 8BB3C1B. This is the same size as the 1BB3C1B but with three springs instead of two. Do a search for SKU: P-RMOD-8BB3C1B.

Are you sure about the 'S' in 4BB3S1D? Could it be a B? We are not familiar with 4BB3S1D but all thing being equal, as long as the second and third character are the same then the tanks should be compatible.

We do not have sufficient cross reference materials to provide the tank number needed for your amp. Most reverb tanks will have an eight character code stamped on them. I would look to see if the original tank in your amp has a code on it. You could also contact Crate and see if they have any information for you.
