#### Recycled Sound

"Guitar player, turn down!" Those words are heard so regularly because tube amps sound best when the power stage is pushed, often resulting in a louder volume than a venue or gig permits. That's where an attenuator comes in: Placed between the speaker output of a combo or head and the speaker, it lowers or "attenuates" the volume-ideally without affecting the tone of the amp.
Attenuator - Recycled Sound, Power Plug 6 / 12, -6dB or -12dB
Why 6 / 12? Engage 1 switch and remove -6db of power. Engage the 2nd switch and you're -12db.
Starting at $65.95 Attenuator - Recycled Sound, Power Plug 100, -10 db to -30dB The Power Plug 100 offers the same -10db as the Power Plug Lite (M-PPLITE) but adds another "Bedroom Level" pot for further attenuation of up to -30db AND is suitable for amps up to 100 watts! Turn your tube amp UP to drive your power tubes. This is where tube amps blossom and where players get in trouble. Use the attenuator to drop your overall volume to more tolerable levels. You can dial in your breakup, which may be too loud, then attenuate to lower the overall volume. So you can adjust your amp as usual and use the attenuator as an overall Master volume.$189.95
Attenuator - Recycled Sound, Power Plug Lite, -2 to -10dB

This is where tube amps blossom and where players get in trouble. Use the attenuator to drop your overall volume to more tolerable levels. You can dial in your breakup, which may be too loud, then attenuate to lower the overall volume.
