The taper of the pot is typically more gradual with an audio taper pot.

We are not sure and the best thing to do is reference a schematic or look for any markings on the current pot to identify the resistance and taper.

The pin pitch is 5mm, the rear standoff to the center pin is also 25mm as described, but the length of the legs from the 90 degree angle to the pin "shoulder" is 18mm.
