The gear appears to be removable as it is held on with a small retainer clip.

Yes but your results may vary and we recommend using the OEM parts for your wah. If you do want to mod your wah it will be at your discretion.

The only possible issue is that the solder lugs on the original V847 potentiometer are protruding from the body, as these are located on the underside of the body on these pots. Electronically, they should have no issue.

I using GCB 95 and replaced new pot. My original pot was 100k and this one is 470k. I notice that the sound is changed significantly. Original pot 100k have a sharp sound but this one providing smooth.. great product!
