Is it correct to assume that the switch cap is flush in one position and raised in the opposing position?

At the default position the knob on the pot should be flush and as you engage the push feature it will be raised.

BradWbr stated that this is a metric pot; can it be assumed that the shaft knurling has 18 splines, not 24? Thanks!
Asked by Anonymous on August 25th, 2020.
Yes, I can confirm they are indeed the coarse 18 spline knurled shafts.

Will these fit a flat top Les Paul Special with no modifications? Will the stock Les Paul knobs fit the splined shaft?
Asked by Anonymous on April 15th, 2022.
These have 24 teeth on the shaft, which should work on a Les Paul, but you will want to double check. The 0.4" bushing length may not be sufficient to get through the top with enough thread left for the hex nut, so you might want to consider the 3/4" bushing version as well: https://www.amplifiedparts.com/products/potentiometer-500k-audio-knurled-long-dpdt-push-push
