Pickup designer Tim Shaw has created a breakthrough humbucking pickup design that features no loss in volume when switching to single coil. The unique Double-Tap™ pickups offer a thick humbucker sound and an expressive single coil sound in the same pickup. This pickup uses a special Alnico 4 magnet for a dynamic and articulate voice. The Fender® Double-Tap™ has a light wax potting for perfect balance of control and response.

Made with flush mounted AlNiCo 5 magnets and enamel coated magnet wire, the Original Jazz Bass pickups deliver the low-end growl and up front midrange punch that makes this instrument so popular. Each pickup comes with a copper shield and black covers. Bridge:

Fender® Custom Shop’s hot-rodded take on a vintage pickup set has quickly become a modern classic. Built onto the core of 1950s Fender® single coil pickups, the Fat ‘50s are wound to enhance the bass response while maintaining a smooth midrange and the top end clarity and brilliance of the originals.
