Pure Tone has developed a high quality 1/4" two pole (mono) jack using a new patented design that improves upon and offers a more reliable connection than standard 1/4" jacks. The Pure Tone design features two springs per pole that secure the plug into place and create a 100% greater surface area connection at all contact points to improve stability and signal integrity. These jacks also increase the current capability of 1/4" connections.

MKIII & MKIV fuzz circuit board made with a phenolic substrate for an even closer match to the vintage production boards. Phenolic boards are found in many vintage electronics before the use of fiberglass became common. This board is a recreation of the circuit board found in Vox Tone Bender MKIII pedals. The board is styled after the non-reverse version that can also be found in the Park Fuzz Sound, Rotosound Fuzz, and the MKIV Tone Bender. When drawing the layout, original boards were closely referenced to ensure a proper match and fit. The copper traces have a surface treatment providing protection from corrosion. This board uses a unique PCB mount potentiometer R-VOMUP-100KL. A matching enclosure P-HROTO-1 can be used with the board to complete a vintage style fuzz build. The BC557 is a silicon general purpose PNP transistor in a TO-92 package. The BC557’s typical applications include signal processing, amplification, and switching.

The Spin Semiconductor FV-1 is a complete reverb solution in a single IC. With integrated stereo ADC and DACs, the FV-1 can be treated like any other analog component in your product's signal path. The FV-1 can access a total of 16 programs, 8 are built into the internal ROM and the designer may elect to connect a serial EEPROM with 8 additional programs. By using an external EEPROM, the designer can distinguish his product from others by creating a custom program set without the need for a microprocessor in the system. With 3 potentiometer inputs, programs may have real time variable parameters such as decay time in a reverb, rate and depth in a chorus or frequency in a filter. These inputs are available as coefficients to your program and may be used independently of each other. The rich instruction set allows users to program effects of all kinds. With instructions like LOG and EXP, users can easily program audio expansion and compression routines.

Extra heavy duty carbon zinc batteries from GP. The GP Greencell AA is a favorite for fuzz pedals like the FZ-1 / FZ-1A and is the stock battery for many boutique builders such as Pigdog and others. Additionally, these batteries are a great choice for any low current battery powered pedal or other devices.

High-quality solder lug linear taper 16mm pots from Gorva Design. Gorva Design left no boxes unchecked when engineering their potentiometer lineup. Premium versions of the pseudo eyelet boards with 7.5mm spacing. The premium versions feature 2.4mm thick boards with gold plated contacts. These PCBs have similar styling to the eyelet/fiberboard used in vintage equipment. The spacing between pads is 7.5mm horizontally and 26mm vertically. The LEHLE SWITCH BTN is a momentary foot switch. It is housed in an M12 threaded enclosure made of stainless steel. Thanks to the gold plated contact material its life span is at least one million switching cycles electrically and mechanically. Hardware included.
