Tonebender MkI “Goldie” style circuit board made with a phenolic substrate for an even closer match to the vintage production boards. Phenolic boards are found in many vintage electronics before the use of fiberglass became common. This board is a recreation of a perfboard layout found in a surviving Tonebender MkI built into a gold sandcast case more commonly used for the Tonebender Mk1.5 and MkII. The mounting holes are spaced to fit our fuzz mounting bracket S-HMB-JEN.

P-PC-PADD1-2-BRN Padboard - Single-Sided, 6.14” x 3.15”, Modern Spacing, Phenolic Board
Perfboard / padboard made with a phenolic substrate. Phenolic boards are found in many vintage electronics before the use of fiberglass became common. This perfboard features a 0.1” modern spacing. The board has 60 x 30 holes with squared copper pads on one side of the board. The copper is surface-treated, making soldering easier than most protoboards and also ensuring a long shelf life.

P-PC-FUZZ-CMOS PCB - Vintage Style Circuit board, CMOS Fuzz, Phenolic Board
This board is for a CMOS fuzz topology popularized by Craig Anderton’s Tube Sound Fuzz from the mid-70s. The board uses a new design with old-school traces on phenolic substrate for an era-appropriate look. Phenolic boards are found in many vintage electronics before the use of fiberglass became common. The circuit is based around a CD4049 CMOS hex inverter and was also the basis for other fuzz designs, including the Way Huge Red Llama. The board fits in a 1590BB and works well with our pre-drilled layout P-H1590BBBK-PD2. A layout can be found in our Documents section below. P-1361-2 Terminal Pin - PCB Mount, 0.05” Diameter, 0.25” Length
PCB mount terminal pin made of tinned brass. This pin fits 0.064” mounting holes and can be swage or solder mounted. The pin diameter is 0.05” and has a total length of 0.25” when mounted. Great for connecting offboard wiring by soldering directly to the pin or using an appropriate connector.

The build style is very straightforward on the Mk2. The board is styled after the point to point version that used eyelets. When drawing the layout, original boards were closely referenced to ensure a proper match and fit. This board is intended for use with S-HEYE-A eyelets and is directly mounted to a Carling P-H550 footswitch (both sold separately). The original build also used a unique C350K pot and the R-VOMSL-350KRA is the perfect substitute. The build style is very straightforward with point to point connections. P-PC-BEND-MKI PCB - Vintage Style Circuit Board, MKI Fuzz
This board is a recreation of the MKI circuit board found in early Tone Bender pedals. When drawing the layout, an original board was closely referenced to ensure a proper match and fit. Since the MKI boards were hand drilled, the holes have an organic layout that was somewhat unique to each build. This board follows the exact hole pattern of one of these original builds. The build style is also fairly unique in the MK1. It is a point to point style board without eyelets or turrets. The leads of the parts are wrapped upward around the edge of the board and then solder is applied to connect the components.
