Pedal Kit - Mod® Electronics, The Verb Deluxe, Digital Reverb
The Mod® Electronics Verb Deluxe kit is built around the Belton Digi-Log Mini Module (P-RBTDR-2H-X) for a great digital reverb sound. The Belton Digi-Log module was built as a replacement for traditional spring reverberation units.
Features include both Dwell and Mix controls, allowing the dry signal to be blended with the processed signal - from just a hint of reverb to deep, cavernous echoes.
The Dwell control adds an extra flexibility, providing a full palette of sweet reverb sound. Warning: The Verb Deluxe does not hold back on reverberation potential. At maximum Dwell and Mix settings you may be overtaken by a virtual tidal wave of sonic reflections.
The effect pedal operates on a 9V battery. For a longer lasting option, a 9-volt adapter can be purchased separately. The Godlyke 9-volt adapter (M-PAS-S) may be purchased separately to power your new pedal.

Product Reviews
The Verb Deluxe is a unique reverb pedal.First, I enjoy building amp and pedal kits so I have some experience. Even so this kit wasn’t the easiest to put together. Directions were great but it’s a tight space and requires some patience and at least a little soldering experience. Took me about 4 -5 hours. Upon completion, I was initially a bit disappointed(this view will change later)with the sound of the effect. It seemed a bit understated compared to the description. After using it for a couple months I started to really dig it ,tho. You have to remember this is a digital representation of a spring reverb. It’s not 3 springs driven by a tube and transformer. It’s not going to envelope you in a room of “twangy surfiness”. That being said,it has a very usable and sweet tone that I’ve grown to appreciate. It really adds some dimension to clean tones. If a room full of spring reverb is desired, running “The Verb Dlx” thru another reverb pedal on room, or hall, or even plate setting does the trick nicely. When I do use it,I usually use it without adding another reverb pedal these days as I have acquired a taste for its subtle effect. It goes quite nicely with a touch of delay. It’s actually a pretty great pedal for the price as long as you like to build kits.As previously stated,I wouldn’t advise starting with this one unless you have soldering experience, tho. Ok, I’m gonna play me some geetar. Bye bye!
Enjoyed putting this together. I’ve built a few pedals from AP. I ended up modding this one. I used 2 reverb modules and a toggle switch. I was going to use all 3 modules, but didn’t have the right switch. That’ll be a future mod. This thing sounds really good. I recommend it.
A great project with easy to read and understand directions. Be mindful of multiple solder connections at a single terminal. It can get a little tricky at times, but that’s part of the challenge. The reverb sounds great. This is my second kit I have purchased and would not hesitate to build another.
I put this pedal together over a few evenings. I was initially attracted to the building because of its point-to-point construction. The online instruction manual was very clear and made the building very easy. It works just as advertised and is now sitting on my pedal board.
This was my first time building a box, but not my last. All parts were there and the directions were awesome. I did put one resistor in the wrong terminal but there are so many good pics that I was able to find it and move it. Then it worked better than the sound clips sound.real quality!
