Pedal Kit - Mod® Electronics, The Trill
The Mod® Electronics Trill tremolo pedal offers classic tremolo tones in an easy-to-build kit. The Trill's Speed knob provides a wide range from a very slow to rapid-fire effect. The Depth knob varies the ratio between effected and dry signal.
Using modern, low-noise transistors makes operation of The Trill quiet with no signal drop when engaged. The Trill uses true-bypass footswitching so it is out of the signal path when not engaged.
All you need to provide is solder and tools! Uses 9 volt battery which is not included.

I purchased a 9v jack and LED and got the Trill Tremolo but no instructions. Is it possible to get the instructions?

Please contact MOD Kits DIY at: https://www.modkitsdiy.com/contact. They are friendly and will be able to help you.
Where is lug 1 on the footswitch? If I compare this diagram:
https://www.amplifiedparts.com/sites/default/files/associated_files/p-h498_drawing_oct18.png
using the Keyway to identify lug 1 then your Drawing 2 in the instructions has lug 1 in the wrong place. Lug 1 is either 4 or 3 depending on the orientation.

I want to purchase the trill tremolo kit and add the parts for the LED and DC Jack. Is the resistor I need an 820 ohm or 820 Kohm? Thanks
Asked by Tikabear on August 16th, 2019.
As long as you're using the LED (search P-L400 on our site) from this guide: https://www.modkitsdiy.com/sites/modkitsdiy.com/files/media_files/the_trill_power_jack_and_led_add_schematic.pdf
it is 820 ohm. Our part number is R-A820.

Is there a mod to smooth the wave, I would prefer it to be less of a stutter?

We don't have any suggested mods for this at the time. If anything ever comes up we'll be sure to let you know. Thanks!
Product Reviews
First guitar pedal kit. Took about 3 hours and it creates a suuuper cool sound!
This pedal was easy to make. works great
This was my first guitar related/non-PC board kit. All the parts were there, and the directions were very clear.
It took me about 4 hours over two sessions, and it worked the first time I plugged it in.
The switching is nice and quiet, the tremolo covers a wide range, and I had fun building it.
Highly recommended.
