PCB and parts kit for the V828 fuzz pedal. This is based on the classic Italian-made V828 Tone Bender. These were also sold under the Jen brand. This kit includes all of the resistors, capacitors, and solder tags used on the included circuit board. The germanium PNP transistors are not included such that customers can select and test their own. In addition to the PCB parts, a footswitch, pots, jacks, PCB bracket, and battery snap are all included in this parts kit.

Note: Transistors, enclosure, battery, battery holder, and wire are not included.

This parts kit includes both a 3.3nF and 4.7nF output cap. This is so users can choose which version to build. The 4.7nF version passes more bass frequencies than the 3.3nF version.

The vintage style gray and blue shielded wire seen in photos is S-W113.

S-W3222TC-X-50 was used for the non-shielded wire connections. This is a high quality wire with color options that has a similar appearance as the wire used in the original builds. It also features a top-coat of solder so no tinning is required.

When mounting the battery strain relief, be sure to use a flat washer.

A staking tool such as S-T1715 or S-T-STAKE-SET is required for attaching the solder tags to the PCB using the included eyelets.

The P-H1590J enclosure was used for the build in the photos. This enclosure is pedalboard friendly but has plenty of room for vintage style wiring. A drill guide used to drill the enclosure in the photos is in the Specifications, Files, and Documents section below.
