Op-Amp - OPA2134, Dual, High Performance Audio, 8-Pin DIP
OPA2134 SoundPlus™ Audio dual op-amp with low distortion, low noise and precision.
The OPA2134 are ultra-low distortion, low-noise operational amplifiers fully specified for audio applications. A true FET input stage is incorporated to provide superior sound quality and speed for exceptional audio performance. This, in combination with high output drive capability and excellent DC performance, allows for use in a wide variety of demanding applications. In addition, the OPA2134 has a wide output swing, to within 1 V of the rails, allowing increased headroom and making it ideal for use in any audio circuit.
The OPA2134 SoundPlus™ audio operational amplifiers are easy to use and free from phase-inversion and the overload problems often found in common FET-input operational amplifiers. They can be operated from ±2.5-V to ±18-V power supplies. Input cascode circuitry provides excellent common-mode rejection and maintains low input bias current over its wide input voltage range, minimizing distortion. OPA2134 operational amplifiers are unity-gain stable and provide excellent dynamic behavior over a wide range of load conditions, including high load capacitance. The dual and quad versions feature completely independent circuitry for lowest crosstalk and freedom from interaction, even when overdriven or overloaded.
This dual op-amp is in an 8-pin DIP package.

Product Reviews
Since I received an email inviting me to write a review on this part here it goes.
The OPA2134PA is an excellent op-amp, especially for guitar pre-amp circuits. Though you may read about others using them for overdrive and distortion pedals those aaplications are not where the OPA2134PA shines the brightest. You get the most benefit from an OPA2134PA if the circuit allows you to put the OPA2134PA at the very beginning of the signal chain.
For my project I purchased these op-amps for repairing/refurbishing an old 87 Fender Sidekick Reverb 65. The circuit for this specific amp has IC1 as the very first semiconductor the guitar signal hits for channel A and IC2 as the very first semiconductor the guitar signal hits for channel B. This is the optimum configuration to get the most benefit from an OPA2134PA. So that's what I did. The Sidekick Reverb 65 is already a great sounding amp. After swapping the original M5218AL opamps in IC1 and IC2 with OPA2134PA op-amps, it is now a fantastic sounding amp. I did not bother with adding IC sockets because I have used the OPA2134PA in many other amps in the past and knew the improvement would be a keeper.
The remaining four M5218AL op-amps in my Sidekick Reverb 65 will be replaced with LM4562 op-amps for their lower noise floor, faster slew rate and much greater gain bandwidth.
