Even though I already knew this was not the right fit, it worked great on my Peavey bass amp head. Here are some directions I wish I had: Brackets need to be hammered in the bottom of whatever wood you are mounting on, and then the handle and chrome covers go on top. Looks and feels great.

I actually bought this to replace the broken handle on my Gibson Flying V case. Original handle broke beyond repair.

Had to put 2 3/4" thick 1 1/2" x 1 1/2" support pieces on the inside of the case that the T-nuts can clamp onto. Once I did that, the handle sat on there perfectly. Works like a charm and very sturdy.
