This set of six String Saver Originals is a perfect upgrade or replacement set of saddles for a Strat or Tele-style guitar. They have a center intonation screw and a 2-1/16" string spacing. Included with the set is an extra set of slightly longer intonation screws to be used with a Telecaster along with a hex key to adjust the saddle heights. String Saver saddles are made with a unique combination of materials made to enhance tone and dramatically reduce string breakage. Each saddle has the String Saver which is impregnated with PTFE, the slipperiest substance on earth. The PTFE in String Savers eases the grip between the saddle and string, spreading the stress over a greater portion of the string, just enough to drastically reduce string breakage. Graphtech’s patented String Saver Originals are made entirely of String Saver material and provide a very balanced tone across the spectrum.

The 8501 model is the perfect option to upgrade or replace the existing saddles on your Gibson Nashville Tune-O-Matic bridge dated after 2000. It will also fit in a TonePros TP6 bridge and any Tune-O-Matic bridges marked PW on the underside. These are the saddles Graphtech loads into our ResoMax NV2 Bridges and bridges with API stamped on the bottom! They are a drop-in replacement set to make for an easy install. Please note: engineered for maximum vibration transfer, TUSQ saddles for electric guitars will add rich bell-like highs and big open lows. Switching to TUSQ Tune-O-Matic saddles will add some "spank" to your tone.
