Hi there. I have a Marshall Guv'nor pedal, made in England, that needs a new on/off switch. Will this one work? Thanks.
Asked by Anonymous on December 27th, 2015.
This is a standard footswitch used in many builder's pedals. This was actually used by one of our staff to fix the bad switch in a RAT pedal. In terms of it's compatibility with a Guv'nor it would depend on the specific era/model. This would definitely work with some versions of the Guv'nor. However,it always helps to do a visual comparison.

Can this switch be used in a morley power wah fuzz model pwf 1970 to 1980/s?
Asked by Anonymous on November 10th, 2016.
You would need to confirm that your wah uses a DPDT switch. Unfortunately, we have no way of knowing what type of switch goes in your pedal. I would also do a visual comparison to makes sure this is the correct style of footswitch.

Does it matter which connection is pin 1 or 6? If so, how do you tell which is pin 1 on this switch? It seems symmetrical except for the word placement.
Asked by Anonymous on March 11th, 2020.
In one position, lugs 1 and 2 are connected and lugs 4 and 5 are connected. In the other position, lugs 2 and 3 are connected and lugs 5 and 6 are connected.

I would like to use this switch as a SPST. on/off. How would I wire this ? Or which lugs do I need ? I only ask because, I can't find a spec sheet
Asked by Anonymous on March 19th, 2020.
See the drawing above under Specifications, Files, and Documents. You can attach your two connections to lugs 1 and 2 to use it this way,
