Hey, I’m looking for a footswitch to replace one that went bad in an Electro-Harmonix Stompbox. I had ordered a switch P-H493. Everything installed great, however it takes like 2 clicks to bypass/engage rather than one. Will this switch operate with one click? I’m not terribly familiar with momentary vs latching switches. Any info would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

Momentary switches and latching switches perform the same function, however the momentary footswitch will only make be engaged as long as the footswitch is activated. Once the button has been released, the switch will revert back to disengaged.

Perfect for what I need. I made a switch to turn my mic on when I push the button and it is normally off when not pushed.
Perfect for what I need. I made a off on switch for the mic in my studio. I want the mic off and when I push the button it turns on so I can speak to the artist thru the headphones in the other room.
Really solid and sturdy, but not a soft touch. You really have to push to get the switch to activate.
