Will this work to switch channels on a DSL40C.

It will work in any situation where a latching SPDT is needed. You may need to confirm with Marshall if this will work with your amp.

I own a 2007 "Made in England" Marshall JCM 2000 DSL 401. Will this 1-button footswitch work for "Reverb" on/off? Thank you. - David
Asked by otstratman on October 30th, 2016.
It should work but we can not guarantee that the LED will work. The LED gets it's power from the amp. If you do not need an LED search for part # P-H470.

Will this function with a Fender Rumble Bass amp? Especially would like the LED to function

This footswitch requires power from the amp, so this footswitch (especially the LED) will most likely not function with that amp.

Will this work with the "pedal" input in an axe fx 2 (jack 6,3mm)?. I just need the footswitch to be recogniced as a latching one AND the led to be on and off. I'm almost sure that axe fx pedal input provides the power for the led
Asked by Anonymous on February 9th, 2020.
We are able to confirm that this is a latching switch, and we can also confirm that the LED require power from whatever it is being used with, however, we are unable to confirm compatibility with the Axe FX II unit.

Product Reviews
I bought this for my Marshall DSL-40C amp because I wanted an LEDo. The channel switch. The switch is built well and looks like an original Marshall switch. While the switch does switch the amp channel, the LED did not light up. After some research I discovered that the resister in the switch is not the right value to light the LED on my amp. I found the correct value and swapped it out. The LED then started working, but was lit on the clean channel and off on the dirt channel, opposite of what I wanted. I rewired the switch to use the other side and now everything works just like I wanted.
