It will work in any situation that calls for a latching SPDT. I would check the manual on your amp.

Does this unit have any resistors/diodes set up to prevent surging, or is it just the contacts? I'm looking to use it as a Control Pedal for a Roland Juno DS keyboard. Unless that isn't needed, then it's OK either way. Thank you very much for the information.

This footswitch simply activates or deactivates various functions for certain amplifier models. There are no resistors or diodes in it. This would not function as a sustain pedal for a keyboard.
