the review above says- "The only thing I had to do was to shorten one of the outside shields. The socket on the amp where this shield plugs into has no opening. At least on my two amps. Once cut-off, the capacitor will drop-in the socket." I dont want to have to modify or solder anything, Im not an electrician, there are no repairmen here.

These should be drop in ready for most applications. Since you are dealing with lethal voltage and are unsure with what you are doing we strongly recommend that you take this to a tech.
How exactly do you “shorten” or “cut off” that extra lug/shield on the new capacitor before plugging it into the socket on the Leslie amp?

We've never done this modification but the tabs are aluminum so any snippers capable of cutting aluminum should work.
